Ashley Hart

BIOGRAPHY

Ashley graduated from the faculty of pharmacy at the university of Manitoba in 2014. She has practiced in community pharmacy throughout her career starting in Brandon at the clinic pharmacy and moving on to the Northway group in 2016. 

Ashley is the pharmacy manager at Northway pharmacy in River Heights, Winnipeg and was also an instructor with the Opioid Agonist Therapy Training Program for pharmacists and prescribers over the past few years.

Throughout her time on the Pharmacists Manitoba Board, Ashley served as Secretary, Vice President, and President. When reflecting on her time on the board, Ashley says she is most proud of her involvement in the Covid-19 vaccine roll out. Although many challenges were presented, overall communication with government and the task force and advocating for pharmacists was a wonderful learning opportunity. It was exciting to be on the forefront of such a unique time in history! Ashley's presidency was cut short after giving birth to twin boys in February.  She is currently on maternity leave caring for her twins, Braxton and Luke.
