Introduction of the NAPRA standards for compounding of non-sterile preparations go into effect October 1, 2020.

Pharmacists Manitoba has gathered a variety of compounding resources to help you adapt to the upcoming changes.

For more information on the schedule, see CPhM’s  implementation chart. Based on questions the College received in preparation for phase one of implementation of the model standards, they developed Where do I start? Standards for Pharmacy Compounding of Non-sterile Preparations for pharmacy professionals in Manitoba. The College also developed a guidance document for pharmacists as well as Pharmacy Compounding Standards.
