Pharmacists Manitoba (formerly MSP) is the advocacy organization for pharmacists in the Province of Manitoba. Our mission is to enhance the recognition and compensation of professional services, while inspiring excellence in practice. The vision is to unify and advance the pharmacy profession.
Code of Conduct
The following Code of Conduct is designed to preserve and protect the tradition of credibility, integrity and respect that Pharmacists Manitoba, hereafter referred to as “the organization", has long held within the community of pharmacy, and among the stakeholder groups that it interacts with. This Code of Conduct applies to all Phrmacists Manitoba office staff, the Chief Executive Officer, the Board of Directors, all members and volunteers of Pharmacists Manitoba's Board Committees and to Liaisons unless it is in conflict with their home organization. Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality
Pharmacists Manitoba recognizes the importance of avoiding perceived and actual conflicts of interests on the part of members of the Board of Directors, Committees and associated staff. To manage these concerns, this policy has been developed.
A person may gain an interest when s/he, a business or professional partner, employee, employer, family member, or other associate is in a position to benefit from a relationship with a third party, where such benefit arises from his/her position with Pharmacists Manitoba.
