Pharmacy Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee day to day operations of the pharmacy
  • Manage staff, operations, inventory, and the facility
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and members of the community
  • Ensure the operations of the pharmacy adhere and follow the provincial and federal pharmacy regulations and Amenity corporate policies

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Licensed to practice pharmacy in Manitoba or be eligible for licensure
  • 1-2 years experience as a pharmacist
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience in the principles of pharmacy management is considered asset
  • Experience working in retail is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of current pharmacy computer systems and software preferred
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective analytical and problem solving skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects
  • The ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with other individuals

Pharmacist Opportunity

CanadaDrugs.com is a Winnipeg based high-quality mail order pharmacy providing medication therapy at an affordable price.  We have full time and part time opportunities for Pharmacists to join our team of dedicated professionals.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, who is also a pharmacist, the Pharmacist is primarily responsible for building relationships with our patients via telephone patient counselling, consulting with prescribers on drug and disease related issues, reviewing patient profiles, identifying and resolving drug related issues, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of prescription transcribing and dispensing.

CanadaDrugs.com provides a unique working environment dedicated to long distance care.  We have developed our own fully computerized patient and pharmacy management system in order to provide the care and accuracy required to meet provincial standards as well as our own care standards.

  • A current license to practice pharmacy in Manitoba

  • A flexible schedule to allow for work to be scheduled Monday to Friday between 8am and 7pm and one out every four Saturdays from 9am to 5pm.  We are closed Sundays and most holidays.
