PRESCRIBING PRACTICE TRAINING NEEDS SURVEY

The College of Pharmacy, University of Manitoba and Pharmacists Manitoba are conducting a survey to better understand how prescribing certification works in practice for Manitoba pharmacists, and what barriers may exist for pharmacists in applying their assessment and prescribing skills. In addition, pharmacist attitudes toward additional training and continuing education will also be a focus of this study. This study has received approval from the University of Manitoba Research Ethics Board.

We are inviting all licensed pharmacists in Manitoba to share your anonymous opinions and perspectives about applying prescribing certification knowledge into practice. You will be asked to answer questions in an electronic survey on Survey Monkey. No personal identifying information will be collected.

If you are interested in learning more about this survey and would like to complete the survey, please click here to learn more about the survey and to consent to participate. You can withdraw from the survey once you have started. The survey is open from June 1 to 30, 2016.

If you have any questions, comments or concerns that you wish to bring to the Principal Investigator, you can email Brenna Shearer at bshearer@pharmacistsmb.ca at any time.

Thank you for considering participating in this survey.
