CGRP Blockade for Migraine Treatment : A Revolution

CGRP blockade for migraine is the result of 30 years of basic and clinical research. It can be used both for acute and preventive treatment. CGRP antibodies and gepants are two new classes available to Canadians. This lecture will summarize the key findings from clinical trials, define the place of CGRP blockade in migraine treatment algorithms and summarize the current state of coverage for these products.
