1.0 PAXLOVID WEBINAR AND SLIDES
On June 1, 2022, Pharmacists Manitoba hosted a webinar on Paxlovid in preparation of the recent shift to assessment, prescribing and dispensing in community pharmacies.
Dr. Alfred Gin, PharmD., an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Microbiology at the University of Manitoba, explored relevant clinical and logistical issues, including drug interactions and decision support and answered member questions about dispensing Paxlovid in Manitoba communities.
The webinar was introduced and moderated by our very own Tim Smith, BScPharm, CDE, CTE Pharmacy Practice Advisor and the Co-Founder of Simplicity Wellness.
This webinar was a collaboration between Pharmacists Manitoba, the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority and Shared Health. It was recorded and is a Pharmacists Manitoba member benefit as a part of our Continued Learning resources.
